Organized under the ‘One Child, One Tree’ program, the event saw the distribution of saplings to young students. The main objective of the program is to create awareness among students about tree plantation and environmental conservation and to involve future generations in environmentally friendly activities.

At this time, the organizers said, just as a child grows with love, affection and care, a sapling also grows into a big tree one day with regular care. Each sapling handed over to the students will play an important role in greening the future. In addition, through tree planting, it is possible to play a positive role in combating the negative effects of climate change and maintaining the balance of the environment.

Mir Shakrul Alam Simanto, who was present at the program, said, “To ensure a green and livable world for future generations, everyone should come forward to plant trees and protect the environment from now on.
