The 154th Foundation Day of Rajshahi College was celebrated with colorful arrangements. The day was celebrated with colorful arrangements by the Rajshahi College administration on Wednesday (April 1) at 10 am. 

The program was inaugurated by the college principal, Professor Dr. Md. Ibrahim Ali, with a procession. After the inauguration, the anniversary was celebrated by releasing balloons, festoons and cutting a cake.  

College Vice-Principal Professor Abu Md. Yunus Ali and Teachers’ Council Secretary Professor Dr. Md. Habibur Rahman, along with heads of various departments and other teachers, were present at the event. 

Also present were various co-educational organizations and political organizations of the college, and general students of different years from various departments at the higher secondary, undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

College Vice-Principal Professor Abu Md. Yunus Ali said, Rajshahi College has been a proud institution for more than a century and a half. Numerous students from this college have contributed to various important fields in the country and abroad, which is a great honor for us. The current world is changing rapidly. It is important to make our education system modern and timely in line with this change. Rajshahi College is moving forward with that goal. 

On the occasion of the foundation anniversary celebration, Rajshahi College Principal Professor Dr. Md. Ibrahim Ali said, “The foundation day of our beloved Rajshahi College is a glorious day. On this special moment, I extend my sincere greetings and congratulations to all the teachers, students, officers and employees of Rajshahi College. At the same time, I remember with deep respect those great teachers, whose dedication, sacrifice and relentless hard work have made our institution one of the best educational institutions in the country today.”
