Bogura Railway station Master Sajedur Rahman, confirmed the incident. Deceased was identified as Momota Khatun, daughter of Mokhlesar Rahman of Chhoto Chapra village in Dhunat upazila of Bogura. The incident is being treated as either an accident or a possible suicide, although the exact circumstances remain unclear.
According to railway sources, woman was struck by Padrag Mail Train (T1 Up), travelling from Santahar to Lalmonirhat, as it passed through Naruli area. She died on the spot. Before railway personnel could remove her body from tracks, another train, 490/2 Down College Train, arrived and struck her again, leaving body severely mutilated.
Station Master Sajedur Rahman said railway police were immediately sent to scene after receiving information about the incident. The remains were subsequently recovered from tracks and taken to the railway station.
