Dry weather likely

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today forecasted dry weather over the country in next 24 hours commencing from 9 am. "Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country," said a Met office bulletin issued this morning. Light to moderate rain or thundershowers, accompanied by temporary gusty winds, may occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions, it said. Light to moderate rain or thundershowers, accompanied by temporary gusty winds, may occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions, it said.

Day temperature may fall slightly while night temperature may remain nearly unchanged across the country.

The highest temperature of 35.6 degrees Celsius was recorded in Rajshahi and Jashore yesterday, while Tetulia recorded the lowest temperature of 20.5 degrees Celsius today.
