BNP Holds Protest Rally in Bogura, Reorganises Grassroots Units JCD
The Bogura Metropolitan BNP organised a protest rally at ward level on Friday, protesting what the party described as attempts to destabilise country through planned acts of violence and anarchy. Meanwhile, Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) has been collecting biodata from grassroots leaders and activists aspiring for organisational posts as part of efforts to strengthen its activities. Meanwhile, Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) has been collecting biodata from grassroots leaders and activists aspiring for organisational posts as part of efforts to strengthen its activities.
BNP’s Ward No. 8 unit held rally at Seujgari Amtala intersection in city on Friday evening. Rezaul Karim Badsha MP, President of Bogura District BNP and Member of Parliament, Bogura-6 (Sadar), attended the programme as chief guest. Following rally, party leaders and activists brought out a protest procession. M R Islam Sadhin, administrator of Bogura City Corporation and vice-president of district BNP, was the chief speaker at Gathering.
Among others, Bogura Metropolitan BNP President Advocate Hamidul Haque Chowdhury Hiru, General Secretary Moniruzzaman Moni, Vice-President Mashiur Rahman Shamim, District BNP Joint General Secretary Sheikh Taha Uddin Nihin and District Mohila Dal General Secretary Nazma Akhter spoke at the programme. Metropolitan BNP Organising Secretary and Ward President Solaiman Ali, Ward BNP General Secretary Abdul Jalil and Organising Secretary Saddam Hossain were also present.
Meanwhile, Bogura District unit of JCD collected biodata from leaders and activists aspiring for organisational posts as part of the process of reorganising units in Sariakandi and Sonatala upazilas and their municipal branches. District JCD President Habibur Rashid Sondhan and General Secretary M R Hasan Palash urged the aspirants to submit their biodata within stipulated deadline.
