The main road from Bhartetulia to Rupihar in Bhatra Union of the upazila was renovated on Thursday. Local residents, including students, have been suffering greatly due to the poor state of the communication system for a long time. Businessman and social worker Md. Jamal Hossain is in discussion as a possible chairman candidate of Nandigram Upazila Parishad.
It is learnt that the common people were suffering on the Bharatetulia-Rupihar road. Jamal Hossain took immediate action after receiving the news. He renovated the road with his own funds and made it suitable for movement. He personally supervised and completed the work and had an open exchange of views with the public.
