The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) will hold the launching ceremony at a local hotel in the capital.

The domestic calendar will begin with the National Cricket League (NCL) four-day competition on October 3, followed by the one-day format and, finally, the T20 competition, which will be organised in Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) model.

Under the proposed structure, the three formats will be brought under a single system, while ownership rights will be handed over to corporate and financial institutions.

The BCB is initially considering granting the franchises ownership rights for three years, allowing corporate entities to become directly involved in the management of domestic cricket alongside the board.

The T20 edition of the tournament is scheduled to begin in December at the Barishal Cricket Stadium.

Fortune Group, Blue Star Limited, Citizens Bank, Walton Hi-Tech Industries, ACME Laboratories and Nabil Group of Industries are among the companies expected to take part in the tournament.

Six selectors — Habibul Bashar Sumon, Hasibul Hossain Shanto, Sazzad Shipon, Nadif Chowdhury, Naim Islam and Shamsur Rahman — will also be associated with the six teams, primarily serving as team representatives.
