The deadline for applications to form a master trainer pool to enhance the professional skills of secondary-level teachers has been extended to September 26. The deadline for applications to form a master trainer pool to

enhance the professional skills of secondary-level teachers has been extended to September 26.

The information was disclosed in a notice issued by the Learning Acceleration in Secondary

Education (LEASE) Project under the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) on

September 14.

The LEASE Project, jointly financed by the government and the World Bank, will provide 42-day

professional development training to 53,760 secondary-level teachers in Bangla, English,

Mathematics and Science.

A subject-based master trainer pool is being formed with skilled and experienced teachers and

officials from government secondary schools, colleges, training institutes, education

administration and related offices and projects.

Applicants must submit a forwarding letter from their institution head confirming permission to

participate in the training and subsequently train other teachers at their workplaces.

The master trainer pool will be formed from online applicants based on professional

qualifications under the approved ‘Trainer Selection Policy’.

Interested candidates have been urged to submit applications with required documents through the

designated website by September 26.
