Naogaon District Community Policing Coordination Convening Committee formed

The Naogaon District Community Policing Coordination Committee has been formed. The committee, which is made up of representatives from different classes and professions of the society, includes businessmen, social workers, journalists, lawyers, doctors, labor leaders and entrepreneurs. The main objective of forming this committee is to further accelerate community policing activities, increase mutual trust and cooperation between the police and the general public, and ensure the active participation of the public in crime prevention. The Naogaon District Community Policing Coordination Committee has been formed. The committee, which is made up of representatives from different classes and professions of the society, includes businessmen, social workers, journalists, lawyers, doctors, labor leaders and entrepreneurs.

The main objective of forming this committee is to further accelerate community policing activities, increase mutual trust and cooperation between the police and the general public, and ensure the active participation of the public in crime prevention.

The chief sponsor of the newly formed committee is Naogaon Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Saiful Islam. The chief advisor is Superintendent of Police Mohammad Tariqul Islam. Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime and Ops) Joybrata Pal will serve as the chief coordinator. In addition, the coordinator is Naogaon Sadar Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Asaduzzaman.

Businessman and social worker Bayojit Hossain Palash has been appointed as the convener of the committee, and businessman and social worker Khairul Alam Golden has been appointed as the member secretary.

Other members of the committee are Advocate Sabbir Ahmed, Abul Kalam Azad, Golam Rabbani, Abdul Majid, Md. Delwar Hossain, Dr. Ebarat Ali, Mahmudun Nabi Belal, Tarique Rahman, Amjad Hossain, Abu Zahed Masud, Shabnam Mostari Koli, Lucky Akhter and Shyamoli Begum.

Those concerned hope that the newly formed committee will create more effective coordination between the police and the public in Naogaon. In addition, community policing activities will be further strengthened to prevent crime, ensure public safety, and increase social awareness.
