Md. Nur Kamal Talukder, headmaster of Satgaon Government Primary School in Khaliajuri Upazila of Netrokona, is undergoing treatment, according to the teachers of the school.

In this regard, Headmaster Md. Nur Kamal Talukder said – I have been suffering from various diseases including diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, fatty liver for a long time. In such a situation, I am on medical leave with the permission of the authorities. I also have permission to go abroad for better treatment. Moreover, since I have been engaged in this profession for 33 years, apart from various leaves in my career, I am also entitled to about three and a half years of earned leave. Since I am sick, I can take medical leave and there is an opportunity to get treatment abroad. Meanwhile, I think that a group, through respected journalist brothers, is trying to harass me in a different way, which is not desirable in any way. Some groups have made false and fabricated allegations against me.

In this regard, Shafiqul Alam Pathan, acting headmaster of Satgaon Government Primary School, said – Our headmaster Md. Nur Kamal Talukder has gone on medical leave and I came to know that the higher authorities have been informed. We pray for his speedy recovery.

He further said that there are no problems in teaching the students at the school.
