Police have arrested a female drug dealer named Labani Akhter (22) with two kilograms of marijuana in Gobindaganj, Gaibandha. At that time, a person who was with her cleverly escaped from the scene.
On Wednesday (September 9) at around 9 pm, based on a secret tip-off, a raid was conducted in the Charmatha Mayamani area of Gobindaganj Municipality and Laboni Akhter was arrested with two kilograms of marijuana.
The arrested Laboni Akhter is the daughter of Abul Kalam of Mohipur (Munshipara) area of Sherpur upazila of Bogra.
Gobindaganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mozammel Haque confirmed the matter and said that a case under the Narcotics Control Act is under process in this incident.
