Keeping in mind the theme of ‘Conscious Driving, Safe Kushtia’, a traffic awareness program has been launched in Kushtia under the initiative of the District Police. This program is being conducted simultaneously in seven police stations of the district.

On Tuesday (September 8), at 9 am, the program was officially inaugurated by Police Super Md. Aminul Islam at the Mazampur Railgate premises in front of the Kushtia Traffic Office.

During the inauguration, the Police Super urged the citizens to prevent road accidents, maintain discipline in vehicle movement and properly comply with traffic laws.

He told the drivers that to avoid accidents, they should drive carefully and attentively. They should not drive while sleepy or tired. At the same time, they should obey traffic laws and signals.

The Police Super also said that every driver and rider must use helmets while riding a motorcycle.

Along with their own safety, the safety of other road users should also be given importance.
