A 2-day training workshop on Preparation of Technical Specifications, Cost Estimation & Technical Evaluation of Tenders has started at the Shaheed Dr. Milton Hall of Bangladesh Medical University (BMU) Monday, September 7, 2026. Chairmen of various departments, teachers, and officials of various offices participated in the workshop. The workshop was inaugurated by the Honorable Vice-Chancellor of Bangladesh Medical University, Professor Dr. F. M. Siddiqui, as the chief guest. In his inaugural speech at the training workshop, the chief guest emphasized on acquiring proper knowledge and increasing skills in this regard in order to complete all the procurement processes correctly, transparently and responsibly. So that the necessary and developmental activities of the university can be completed more dynamically and skillfully and along with the proper use of government money, saving money is ensured. The keynote address was delivered by BMU Consultant (E-GP) Mr. Abu Syed Majumdar. The training workshop was chaired by Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) President Professor Dr. Nurunnahar Khanam and moderated by IQAC Additional Director Dr. Deen-e-Mujahid Mohammad Faruk Osmani and Additional Director Dr. Abu Saleh Md. Abu Obaida. The workshop was attended by Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department Chairman Professor Dr. Md. Abdus Shakur, Director (Hospital) Brigadier General Dr. Irteka Rahman, Director (Finance and Accounts) Mr. Khandaker Shafiqul Hasan Ratan, Associate Professor Dr. Md. Adnan Hasan Masud, Additional Director (Finance and Accounts) Md. Masud Alam, Additional Director (Finance and Accounts) Md. Nasir Uddin Bhuiyan, Additional Director (Finance and Accounts) Md.
