500 eye patients received free medical services at an eye camp at Lashkar UP in Khulna’s Paikgachha. At the initiative of Lashkar Acting UP Chairman Jahangir Alam Sana, doctors from Satkhira Rural Eye Hospital, including Sushmita Mondal Tanni, Tapan Kumar, Arafat Hossain and their staff, provided eye treatment throughout the day at the Union Parishad on Monday, September 7.

The concerned said that the free eye treatment camp provided medicines and glasses along with cataract examination, eye pressure examination and eye canal examination. Patients were also selected for surgery by inserting lenses into the selected cataract patients in the camp. Also present at the time were UP members Arvind Mondal, Mofazzal, Rafiqul Islam, TM Hasanuzzaman and people from different professions. The poor patients of the area expressed their gratitude to the doctors and the acting chairman after receiving free medical services, medicines and glasses.
