On the occasion of his visit to Thakurgaon district, His Excellency the President of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, Mr. Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, was welcomed with state dignity and deep respect by the Rangpur Range and Thakurgaon District Police, Mr. Mohammad Abdul Mabud, the Honorable DIG of Rangpur Range, and Mr. Md. On the occasion of his visit to Thakurgaon district, His Excellency the President of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Mr. Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, was welcomed with state dignity and deep respect by the Rangpur Range and Thakurgaon District Police, Mr. Mohammad Abdul Mabud, the Honorable DIG of Rangpur Range, and Mr. Md. Belal Hossain, the Honorable Superintendent of Police of Thakurgaon District.
On the occasion of His Excellency’s arrival, a guard of honor was given to him at the designated place. At that time, state protocol and security arrangements were duly followed in the presence of the DIG of Rangpur Range and the Superintendent of Police, Thakurgaon.
After the guard of honor, His Excellency the President visited the graves of his late parents. At that time, DIG of Rangpur Range Mr. Mohammad Abdul Mabud and Superintendent of Police of Thakurgaon District Mr. Md. Belal Hossain were present during the grave visit.
Overall security arrangements were taken in coordination with Rangpur Range Police and Thakurgaon District Police to ensure that His Excellency the President’s visit to Thakurgaon district is safe, smooth and orderly. The responsibilities and preparations of the police members deployed in the relevant areas, including the visit venue, important points and transportation routes, were supervised.
All senior officers and members of the Bangladesh Police are performing their duties with utmost professionalism, caution, coordination and responsibility to properly ensure the state dignity, security and protocol of His Excellency the President’s visit.
