If I am not mistaken, this house is the ancestral house of Dr. Abdul Moin Khan, a member of the BNP standing committee, a descendant of Charangaradi village of Palash, Narsingdi, a 5-time MP from Palash, and a 3-time minister, a prominent educationist and politician, and the renowned, influential, and renowned LGRD Minister of the current BNP government. Dr. Abdul Moin Khan’s father, Abdul Momen Khan, was also a minister during the then Shaheed Ziaur Rahman government. Late Momen Khan transformed Narsingdi from a Mahakuma to Narsingdi district through various developments.  After father and son became MP ministers from the same house, the country has changed through all the improvements in the infrastructure, political, economic, social, etc. of houses and roads, offices, courts, etc. for the welfare of the people of the country. However, this beautiful house of the traditional Khan house, Kathkewadi, has not changed. Many say that if Dr. Moin Khan Sir wanted to, he could have spent a lot of money and built a beautiful multi-storey brick and stone house surrounded by beautiful craftsmanship in the ancestral house of the village. But he did not do that. The reason: Dr. Moin Khan Sir has still kept the Kathkewadi house visible to preserve the memory of the village. Dr. Moin Khan Sir is a truthful, transparent, clean, politician. He does not earn any money through unfair or illegal means, lives a simple life and he wants to preserve the memory of the village by mixing with the common people of the village.  Because of this, he still holds the memories of that old wooden Kewari house, made with exquisite craftsmanship, in his heart and soul, and keeps it visible in reality.
