As part of the tree plantation program announced by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and on the occasion of the 82nd birthday of former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia, Khairul Kabir Khokon MP spoke at the sapling distribution program among students and farmers at the initiative of Narsingdi District Krishak Dal.
BNP Joint Secretary General Khairul Kabir Khokon MP has commented that no one will be able to disrupt the progress of the current government by any conspiracy. He said to the leaders and activists, I hope you all will remain united. By remaining united, we will implement all the programs announced by this government in the coming days – starting from tree plantation to the government’s programs to the letter.

Khairul Kabir Khokon said these things while speaking as the chief guest at a tree plantation program including sapling distribution among students and farmers at the Narsingdi Government College premises on Tuesday afternoon, initiated by the District Krishak Dal.

MP Khokon said, ‘The people are on our side in the work we are doing as a party to motivate the people. Therefore, for the welfare of the people, we will implement the programs announced by the government with justice, ethics, and honesty. The Prime Minister is running the country on the back of a devastated economy. What our government is doing on the back of a devastated economy is a rare occurrence.’

Khairul Kabir Khokon also said, ‘If our farmers survive, the country will survive’—so the initiative taken by the Prime Minister for the farmers, including the waiver of 10,000 taka agricultural loans with interest, should be implemented by the farmers and the tree plantation program should be implemented by the people along with the farmers.

The program was inaugurated by the president of Bangladesh Nationalist Farmers’ Party and chairman of Barendra Multi-purpose Development Authority, agriculturist Hasan Zafir Tuhin.
Narsingdi District Krishak Dal acting convener Md. Shafiqul Islam V.P. Apel presided over the program and the main speaker was the general secretary of Bangladesh Nationalist Farmers’ Party Md. Shahidul Islam Babul MP.

District Krishak Dal member secretary Deepak Kumar Barman G.S. Prince moderated the program and Narsingdi District Council administrator Bir Muktijoddha Tofazzal Hossain, joint general secretary of Bangladesh Nationalist Farmers’ Party agriculturist Shahadat Hossain Biplob and Dhaka divisional organizing secretary of Krishak Dal Dipu Haider Khan were present as special guests.

Krishak Dal leader Jewel and other leaders and workers spoke at the program.
