State Minister for Liberation War Affairs Ishraq Hossain, MP, was present at the meeting. The meeting also discussed the need to revise the Allocation of Business in line with the scope of work of the relevant departments and ministries.

Those concerned believe that if the proposed department is formed, it will create opportunities for more organized management of rehabilitation, assistance, and welfare activities for the families of victims of these incidents.
