Associate Professor of the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics Dr. Khaleda Akhter, Assistant Professor Dr. Md. Shahidul Hasan (Babul), Assistant Professor Dr. Hasan Ali, teachers, doctors and resident students from various departments of the Faculty of Dental Medicine, and other concerned persons were present at the event. Dr. Jaison J. Valiakulangara, a prominent dental specialist from India, presented a paper as the keynote speaker of the lecture and live demo titled Lasers in Dentistry at the event. He delivered a lecture on the use of laser technology in dentistry, its potential and modern treatment methods and highlighted the practical aspects of the related technology through live demos. The speakers at the event said that the use of laser technology in modern dentistry is becoming increasingly important. Such an event will play an important role in increasing the knowledge and skills of doctors, teachers and students about the use of technology-based and modern methods in diagnosis and treatment.
