Farewell and welcome ceremony held for students of RUET’s CSE department

The inaugural reception of the 25th batch of students of the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Department of Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) and the farewell reception of the 20th batch of students along with the distribution of prizes for sports competitions were held. The inaugural reception of the 25th batch of students of the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Department of Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) and the farewell reception of the 20th batch of students along with the distribution of prizes for sports competitions were held. Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. S. M. Abdur Razzak was present as the chief guest at the function organized at the auditorium of RUET on Tuesday (July 21) afternoon.

The event was organized by the Computer Science and Engineering Association. In the event, 180 students of CSE’s 20th series were bid farewell and 180 students of CSE’s 25th series were welcomed.

The program was presided over by Professor Dr. Md. Shahid Uz Zaman, Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. Professor Dr. Bashir Ahmed, Dean of the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Professor Dr. Rabiul Islam Sarkar, Director of the Student Welfare Department, were present as special guests.
