The complaint has been raised regarding the sale of property among the heirs of the Rahut house in the village.
According to information sources, there have been allegations that the son Asim Rahut has completed the dismissal by showing his living mother as dead and hiding the information of several legitimate heirs. The victims claim that a pond belonging to 42 percent of the family was sold on the basis of that dismissal. In this incident, an application has been filed with the Assistant Commissioner (Land) Netrokona Sadar seeking cancellation of the dismissal and the matter is currently pending.
According to the complaint, Asim Raut, son of deceased Anil Raut, showed his living mother Geeta Raut as dead while receiving the inheritance certificate. At the same time, the names of brother Anjan Raut, niece Antara Raut and sister-in-law Mishu Raut were also not included in the inheritance certificate. Later, on the basis of that certificate, the family pond of 42 percent area of B.R.S. Khatian No.-1808, Dag No.-1595 of Tatiye Mouza was sold.
The victims claim that the real heirs have been deprived of their legal rights due to the concealment of information.
The victims have also questioned the validity of the inheritance certificate issued by the Union Parishad in this incident. They have demanded that the controversial rejection be overturned through an impartial investigation and the rights of all legitimate heirs be ensured.
