A day-long training workshop titled ‘Exchange Rates Calculation Philosophy and Its Significance’ was organized by Bangladesh Foreign Exchange Dealers Association (BAFEDA) on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at a hotel in the capital. Md. Altaf Hussain, Managing Director (Acting) of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC and Treasurer of BAFEDA, inaugurated the workshop as the chief guest. Subhas Chandra Das, Deputy Managing Director of BASIC Bank, was present as the special guest at the event. 108 executives and officers of various ranks from 54 banks of the country participated in the workshop.
