New Committee of ‘Nirapad Sarak Chai’ Formed in Gazipur Dr. Lokman elected President, Kazi Makbul as General Secretary

A new committee of the Gazipur district branch of the social organization Nirapad Sarak Chai (NISCHA) has been formed for the 2026–2027 term with the aim of preventing road accidents, promoting compliance with traffic laws, and raising public awareness about road safety. A new committee of the Gazipur district branch of the social organization Nirapad Sarak Chai (NISCHA) has been formed for the 2026–2027 term with the aim of preventing road accidents, promoting compliance with traffic laws, and raising public awareness about road safety.

The central committee approved the new committee for a two-year term, effective from June 25, 2026, to June 26, 2028.

The newly formed committee consists of 5 advisers and 39 members. Alhaj Dr. Md. Lokman Hossain has been elected as President, while Kazi Md. Makbul Hossain has been elected as General Secretary.

The advisers are: Lion Md. Gani Mia Babul, Alhaj Md. Abdul Jalil, Advocate Dewan Md. Abul Kashem, Alhaj Advocate Md. Ataur Rahman Akash, and poet Abu Nasir Khan Tapan.

Shahiduzzaman Ripon (Legal Affairs Secretary), Md. Billal Hossain (Cultural Secretary), Sabina Afrin Chaiti (Social Welfare and Sports Secretary), Rita Brahma (Women Affairs Secretary), and Md. Tamiz Uddin Tamu (Youth Affairs Secretary).

Newly elected President Dr. Md. Lokman Hossain said, “We will work together with everyone to raise public awareness, promote adherence to traffic laws, and establish safer roads to prevent road accidents.”

General Secretary Kazi Md. Makbul Hossain said, “The new committee will work in unity to make the road safety movement in Gazipur stronger and more effective. Awareness programs and public engagement activities will be conducted regularly to reduce road accidents.”

The leaders of the newly formed committee expressed their commitment to further strengthening the movement for safe roads by implementing the organization’s goals and objectives.
