After the meeting, the inspectors will visit various departments to observe the quality of education, infrastructure and facilities provided for students in the expansion of higher education at RUET. On the last day of the inspection, they will return on Tuesday after meeting with the Vice Chancellor, Deans of various faculties and Registrars. The BETE Evaluation Team provides supervision and advice on improving the quality of engineering and technical education, as well as accreditation.

Incidentally, after the previous visit of the BAET Evaluation Team, three important departments of RUET, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, and Civil Engineering, have achieved the prestigious ‘BAET Accreditation’ for 6 years. In addition, the Department of Mechanical Engineering is awaiting the approval of ‘BAET Accreditation’. As a result of obtaining accreditation, the quality of education of the relevant departments of RUET is recognized as international standards. As a result, students will get additional acceptance in higher education in foreign universities. It will be easier to get international scholarships. Students will get priority in jobs in multinational companies and in the future, the path to enjoying the benefits of international agreements like the ‘Washington Accord’ will be smooth.
