Naogaon Television Journalists Association election commission formed, vote by July 15

A general meeting of the Naogaon District Television Journalists Association has been held. The meeting was held at Park View Restaurant at Muktir More in the city on Friday, June 19, 2026 at 8 pm. The meeting, organized under the chairmanship of the association's convener Md. Mofazzal Hossain, was attended by representatives of various satellite televisions working in Naogaon district and appointed camera persons. A general meeting of the Naogaon District Television Journalists Association has been held. The meeting was held at Park View Restaurant at Muktir More in the city on Friday, June 19, 2026 at 8 pm.

The meeting, organized under the chairmanship of the association’s convener Md. Mofazzal Hossain, was attended by representatives of various satellite televisions working in Naogaon district and appointed camera persons.

At one stage of the meeting, a three-member election commission was formed to conduct the upcoming elections on the presentation of the convening committee and with the unanimous consent of all those present. Former president of the District Press Club and district representative of Channel I, Md. Kayes Uddin, has been given the responsibility of the Chief Election Commissioner.

The other two members of the commission are Faridul Karim Tarafdar, former general secretary of the district press club and district representative of Nexus Television, and Rifat Hossain Sabuj, general secretary of the district journalists’ union and district representative of Channel Nine. The meeting unanimously decided that the election commission, in coordination with the current convening committee, will complete the elections by July 15.
