Health and Family Welfare Minister Sardar Md. Sakhawat Hossain said, in the future, patients will be served through a pilot scheme. Where our people will go to every house. After providing primary care, if they feel that they need to be taken to the hospital, a patient will have to come to the hospital for treatment. In this way, the current government has a plan to simplify the medical system for everyone across the country. He said this while speaking as the chief guest at the ceremony to provide financial assistance to the poor and helpless people from the Minister of Health and Family Welfare’s own fund at the Monohardi Upazila Parishad auditorium in Narsingdi on Saturday afternoon.

The minister said, the previous government laundered the country’s money abroad through corruption. We are running an exceptional government. We want to serve all people regardless of party affiliation. Now no one has to pay bribes to get government benefits. Our Prime Minister’s strict instructions are that everyone must stay above corruption.  The Ad-Din Hospital authorities have come after me with crores of taka, but the end has not been saved, the license has been cancelled. Jamaat leaders are speaking in favor of Ad-Din today.

The minister said, with the help of China, we are going to build two specialized hospitals with 3,000 beds. Where there will be special arrangements for medical care for children and women. Patients will be provided with services in the hospital by dividing them into four parts. Four helicopters are being arranged for emergency treatment of dying patients. Five more children’s hospitals will be inaugurated in the country in the next five months.

Later, financial assistance was given to more than two hundred poor and helpless people of Monohardi Municipality and various unions of the upazila. The minister distributed saplings among the students and planted trees in the upazila parishad premises.
