As the water of this river has become poisonous, various species of fish including Boal, Tengra, Koi, Kanach, Magur, Jeol, Kakle, Sarputi, small and large Guchi, shrimp and shoal, and various species of fish including net fish are dying and floating in the river due to the poisonous water. People on the banks of the river are ignoring all obstacles and are hunting big Boal fish. Each Boal fish weighs at least 5 to 7 kg. Moreover, other fish are dying and floating in the poisonous water. There are sufficient eggs in the stomach of the fish. As the fish die due to the poisonous water, the fish eggs are being destroyed. It seems that the fish will become extinct from this Baranay river in the future. Currently, there is no water flow in the Baranay River. As a result, the 51-kilometer-long Baranay River has now become waterlogged. Therefore, everyone must come forward to save the river. Thousands of farmers in the area have demanded that the main flow and pure water flow of the river be restored.
