A prayer meeting and discussion meeting were held in Paikgachha on the occasion of the 11th death anniversary of former speaker Sheikh Razzak Ali. This program was organized on Sunday morning by the initiative of the Entaz Ali Memorial Library established in the name of his father in Hitampur village. On the occasion of the death anniversary, Quran recitation, grave visit, discussion meeting, prayer and Milad mahfil were held in the morning. Sheikh Azadul Haque presided over the discussion meeting held in the premises of the organization’s office. Sheikh Ziadul Haque, Md. Ibrahim Khalil, librarian Kallol Mallick, Syed Maqbul Hossain, Sheikh Shaon Ahmed, Sheikh Sujan Ahmed, Sheikh Shahnewaz Ashiq, Sheikh Nafiz, Sheikh Sabuj and other library members delivered speeches. The prayer program was conducted by the respected Imam and Khatib of the local Hitampur Jame Mosque

Thousands of people used to swarm like bees to see his face. Today everyone has forgotten him. He has done a lot for the people of Paikgachha Koyra. Among them, he has built two judicial courts, Shibsa, Kopotaksha, and Chandali Bridge in Paikgachha Upazila town. He has established numerous institutions including Fasiar Rahman Women’s Degree College, Shaheed Zia Secondary Girls’ School. He was the first to install electricity in Paikgachha. He first arranged for the paving of the Paikgachha Koyra road. Therefore, ignorant people have forgotten him.
