The three-day 11th art camp, children’s painting, recitation and cultural programs were held under the initiative of Brahmanbaria District Children’s Theatre.
The event was inaugurated at Maleka Saheb Ali High School in Ulchapara, Brahmanbaria on Thursday (May 21) morning.
With the aim of promoting the current reality and creative children, various natural sceneries, recitations and cultural performances were held to introduce children to the intellectual development, traditions of rural Bengal, rivers and water bodies, and literature.
Practical painting was organized as part of the 11th talent development program for children at the event.
Brahmanbaria Shishu Natyam founder general secretary Niaz Mohammad Khan Bitu moderated the program and Brahmanbaria Zilla Parishad administrator and district BNP general secretary Haji Sirajul Islam Siraj was present as the chief guest. Zilla Parishad CEO Abdul Quader, district BNP treasurer Mizanur Rahman, organizing secretary Asaduzzaman Shaheen, senior joint secretary Ali Azam, former VP of Brahmanbaria Government College Mohammad Tajul Islam, Brahmanbaria Shishu Natyam vice-president Asadur Rahman Alamgir, Shishu Natyam president Masukul Islam Masuk, and art instructor Babul Mia.
In his speech as the chief guest, Sirajul Islam Siraj said, after August 5, youth and children across the country including Brahmanbaria have expressed their feelings through graffiti and painting. Through this painting practice, the next generation should be made more creative and patriotic. He also said that Niaz Mohammad Khan Bitu, the founding president of Brahmanbaria Shishu Natyam, has been working with children without remuneration for a long time. This great initiative of his will be memorable for the society and the nation. Great enthusiasm and enthusiasm was seen among the children participating in the program.
The organizers said that Brahmanbaria Shishu Natyam has been working for the last ten years in its long journey of forty years in an effort to bring rural Bengal, rivers, and nature closer to nature. This time, the 11th art camp has also brought the river closer to nature.
