A rally and discussion meeting was held at Paikgachha Upazila Health Complex in Khulna to mark International Nurses Day 2026. The program was organized on Tuesday morning by nurses.The event, organized under the theme “Our Nurses, Our Future – Empowering Nurses, Essential to Saving Lives,” featured a colorful rally on the hospital premises. Later, a discussion meeting was held at the health complex.Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Ahsanara Binte Ahmed was present as the chief guest at the event. She said, nurses are one of the most important partners in healthcare. Their sincerity and sacrifice in serving patients is further enriching the health sector.Health Assistant Baby Sardar, Statistician Jahangir Alam, Senior Staff Nurse Rehena Parveen, Mousumi Fauzdar, Aarti Sardar, Pragya Moitra, Monira Khatun and other nurses and health workers were present at the time.
