He said these things to journalists while inaugurating the folk fair on the occasion of the New Year at the Monohardi Upazila Parishad premises in Narsingdi on Tuesday (April 14) afternoon.
He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, measles vaccines are being given in 30 upazilas and city corporations to prevent the measles outbreak.  Measles vaccine and vitamin A capsules will be administered to children across the country from the 20th. We have already been able to stop the spread of measles and the death rate has also decreased. We hope that measles will be under control within two weeks. The program was presided over by Monohardi Upazila Executive Officer MA Muhaimin Al Jihan.
