BMU Deputy Registrar 1 and Member Secretary of the Research Grant Committee, Dr. Moderated by AKM Kabir Ahmed Riaz, the esteemed Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of BMU, Professor Dr. Shamim Ahmed, Dean of the Faculty of Surgery, Professor Dr. Md. Ibrahim Siddique, Dean of the Faculty of Medical Technology, Professor Dr. M Abu Hena Chowdhury, and other concerned teachers and physicians were present. At the event, Honorable Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. FM Siddiqui urged the proper use of research grants, creating more interest among teachers and doctors in research work, and involving more suitable and qualified teachers and doctors in research work. Professor Dr. Md. Mujibur Rahman Haolder, Chairman of the Research Grant Committee and Pro-Vice Chancellor (Research and Development) of the university, said that research activities have been strengthened during the current administration compared to the past and that there is no alternative to continuing continuous research in the medical science and health sector to combat the outbreak of various viruses, epidemics and various diseases, prevent diseases and above all save human lives.
