World Parkinson's Day was celebrated at Bangladesh Medical University (BMU). On the occasion of the day, a public awareness rally was held from BMU's B Block today, Saturday, April 11, 2026. So that the proportion of people affected by any disease or characteristic in the population can be known. Their diseases, health conditions and risk factors can be found out. Which will play a special role in disease prevention and reducing public health risks. BMU Neurology Department Professor Dr. Kanoj Kumar Barman, Professor Dr. Sheikh Mahabub Alam, Urology Department Associate Professor Dr. Mohammad Rafiqul Islam, Neurology Department Associate Professor Dr. Md. Masud Rana, Associate Professor Dr. Anis Ahmed, Associate Professor Dr. Kazi Jannat Ara, Deputy Controller of Examinations, Private Secretary to the Vice-Chancellor, Mr. Lutfar Rahman, and other teachers, doctors, residents of the Neurology Department participated in the rally.
