Police have arrested six people, including a woman, on charges of defrauding poor people in the name of providing low-cost consumer goods and healthcare services in Netrokona to extort money. Police said that they arrested card-holding members of an organization called 'Ask Foundation' red-handed in a drive conducted in Balijuri village of Rouha union of Sadar upazila yesterday afternoon based on intelligence information. The arrested persons are: President Jewel Mia, General Secretary Mosharraf Hossain, Team Leader Sapna Akhter and activists Nayeem Mia, Meem Akhter and Runa Akhter.
