The district administration has put up a signboard of ‘Assigned Property’ at the site of the abandoned and demolished party office of the Metropolitan Awami League located in Kumarpara, Rajshahi city. The signboard was installed at the site around 11:30 am on Monday (April 6).

The signboard states that the property is a Schedule A vested and non-resident property. It states that the Rajshahi District Commissioner and Collector are responsible for managing the property on behalf of the Bangladesh government.

The signboard erected by the district administration has detailed information about the property. It shows that the property is located in Rampur Mouza of Boalia Police Station in Rajshahi district. Its JL number is 10, Khatian number is 18 and Dag number is 281. The land category is mentioned as ‘House’ and the total area is 0.4956 acres. In addition, the VP case number is 2/76.

As a result of this initiative by the district administration, the abandoned land of the Metropolitan Awami League in Kumarpara has officially come under the control of the district administration as government property, according to relevant sources.
