He made this call at a darbar ceremony organized with officers and employees of all levels at the Fire Service and Civil Defense Headquarters on 11 March 2026 at 11 am. Upon arriving at the darbar ceremony at 11:00 am, Director (Training, Planning and Development) Lt. Col. MA Azad Anwar, PSC, respectfully greeted the Director General and handed over the darbar. Then, Muhaddis Kazi Sharif Ullah, the religious teacher of the department, read from the religious scriptures. After that, the Director General began receiving his darbar. First, he outlined the steps taken and development work undertaken during his tenure in the Fire Service and Civil Defense. He expressed satisfaction with the response and operational activities of the Fire Service to various accidents across the country. He expressed his sincere gratitude to everyone, stating that operational activities are being successfully completed with the efforts of officers and employees at all levels. At the same time, he urged everyone to strive to maintain the reputation of the organization. In addition, he instructed to take necessary steps at all levels to implement the applicable instructions for the Fire Service and Civil Defense of the current government. At this stage, he patiently listened to the various opinions of the officers and employees who were present in person and connected online in the courtroom and answered their various questions. At the end of the ceremony, the Director General honored six people who participated in the successful rescue operation of a child from a deep tube well in Raozan, Chittagong recently. Each of them was given a certificate, a ‘Director General’s Appreciation ‘ insignia and cash as an honor. The darbar ceremony was attended by all levels of officials and employees working in Dhaka, including the directors of the department, project directors, and managing directors of the Welfare Trust. In addition, the divisional deputy directors of all departments and district officials participated in the darbar ceremony online from their respective workplaces. The darbar ended at 1:00 pm.
