The Bangladesh Inter-University Officers Federation has been formed with 101 members. This biennial committee was elected for the years 2026-2027 and 2027-2028 on Saturday night, December 20, 2025, at a local hotel in the capital with the participation of officials from various universities.
Mr. Khandaker Shafiqul Hasan Ratan, Director (Finance and Accounts) of Bangladesh Medical University, has been elected as the President of the Committee and Mr. Md. Monowarul Islam Enam, Additional Registrar of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, has been elected as the Secretary General. Dr. Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Pasha, Additional Registrar of Bangladesh Medical University, has been elected as the Chief Patron of the Committee. Mr. Md. Abdullah Mridha, Registrar of Gazipur Agricultural University, has been elected as the Senior Vice President. Mr. Khandaker Nazmul Hasan, Additional Registrar of Kabi Nazrul Islam University, has been elected as the 1st Joint Secretary General. Md. Rezaur Rahman Mia Raju, Deputy Registrar of National University, has been elected as the Organizational Secretary.
Currently, the number of government universities in Bangladesh is 59, and the Bangladesh Inter-University Officers Federation has been formed with 101 members from the officers of all these universities.
