In line with the commitment of Bangladesh Bank to build a cashless Bangladesh, a discussion meeting titled ‘Cashless Payment in Healthcare’ was held at Islami Bank Hospital on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at the Islami Bank Foundation Auditorium. The bank’s Chairman, Md. Zahir Hossain, was present as the chief guest at the event. The bank’s Managing Director ( Acting ) Md. Altaf Husain presided over the program, and Bangladesh Bank Director A.N.M. Moinul Kabir, Additional Directors Md. Parvez Anjam Munir and Mohammad Moin Uddin and Islami Bank Foundation Executive Director K.M. Munirul Alam Al-Mamun also spoke at the event. During this time, the bank’s Additional Managing Director Dr. M. Kamal Uddin Jasim, Deputy Managing Directors Mahmudur Rahman, Md. Rafiqul Islam, Md. Maksudur Rahman, Abu Saeed Md . Idris O Md . Zakir Hossain and senior executives and officials of Islami Bank and Foundation were present. After the ceremony, transactions through Bangla QR were inaugurated at Islami Bank Hospital.
