A month-long initiative by Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC The ‘ Cyber Security Awareness’ campaign has been inaugurated. The bank’s Managing Director (Acting) Dr. M Kamal Uddin Jasim inaugurated the campaign as the chief guest at a ceremony organized at Islami Bank Tower on Wednesday, September 30, 2026. The program was presided over by Executive Vice President Mohammad Rezaul Karim and the welcome speech was delivered by Senior Vice President S. M. Mizanur Rahman . The bank’s Deputy Managing Directors Md. Rafiqul Islam, Muhammad Saeed Ullah, Md. Maksudur Rahman , Abu Saeed Md. Idris and Md. Zakir Hossain were also present. Senior executives and officials of the bank were present at the time. All zone heads, branch heads and sub-branch in-charges also participated in the virtual platform. In his speech as the chief guest , Dr. M Kamal Uddin Jasim said, “With the increasing use and importance of information technology, the importance of cyber security has also increased. Ensuring customer trust, confidentiality and security of information is one of our most important responsibilities. To ensure cyber security, every officer and employee, along with the organization, must play a conscious and responsible role.”
