A new committee has been formed at the Adamdighi Press Club in Bogura. Hafizar Rahman (dainik Samakal) has been re-elected as the president.
The press club announced in a statement on Sunday that the members unanimously agreed to reconstitute the committee at a general meeting held at the temporary office of the press club on Friday. Khandaker Mehedi Hasan (Jayzaydin) has been appointed as the general secretary of the press club and Abu Muttalib Moti (Dainik Bogra) as the organizing secretary.
The meeting was presided over by Golam Mostafa, the convener of the Press Club. Journalists Mihir Sarkar, Momin Khan, Abu Hasan and many others were present. The new executive committee for the next 1 year was announced.
The newly elected senior vice-president of Adamdighi Press Club is Benazir Rahman (dainik Janata), associate editor Hedayetul Islam Ujjal (dainik Dinkal), finance editor Mizanur Rahman (Amar Barta) and executive member Anwar Hossain (Ittefaq).
