The Coast Guard has conducted a training workshop on environmental and forest protection, forest animal conservation, and public awareness activities titled “Youth Festival-2025” in Chittagong.

He said, since its establishment, Bangladesh Coast Guard has been conducting various disaster relief operations, relief distribution, emergency medical services and rehabilitation activities in coastal and riverine areas. In addition, the Coast Guard has been carrying out various awareness activities for environment and forest conservation, and protection of forest animals. In continuation of this, a training workshop and public awareness program titled “Youth Festival-2025” on environment and forest protection, forest animal conservation was organized by Coast Guard Outpost Patenga at Bangladesh Navy Anchorage School and College in Chittagong from 10 am to 12 noon on Thursday, October 9, 2025. Representatives of the Forest Department Chittagong and teachers and students of schools and colleges participated in the workshop.
He also said that the Coast Guard will continue such public awareness activities in the future to preserve the environment and forests.
