On Friday, August 21, 2026, at 10 am, volunteers of BD Clean voluntarily participated in a cleaning program at the Buriganga channel adjacent to the Adi Section Bridge in Old Dhaka. This cleaning program was conducted in collaboration with the Dhaka District Administration and Dhaka South City Corporation.
Before the start of the program, State Minister for Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Mir Shahe Alam MP administered the oath to the sanitation workers and volunteers and inspected the sanitation program. Dhaka South City Corporation Administrator Abdus Salam and Dhaka Deputy Commissioner Ms Farida Khanam were present at the time.
