Keeping in mind the theme of “My Police, My Country, Bangladesh First,” a meeting was held at Maheshpur Bazar, Ward No. 8 of Jindarpur Union, Kalai Upazila, Joypurhat, to further strengthen the activities of the community police.
The meeting emphasized maintaining law and order at the local level, preventing crime, curbing drugs and social degradation, and increasing mutual cooperation between the police and the general public.
Kalai Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Rafiqul Islam was present as the chief guest at the event. Also present were prominent social worker and BNP leader of Jindarpur Union Md. Sajjadul Haque and former student leader Md. Abdullah Al Mamun, along with local dignitaries and locals.
The speakers said that the coordinated efforts of the police and the public are very important in improving the law and order situation. By making the activities of community police more active and effective, it is possible to prevent crime and ensure a peaceful environment in the area.
At the meeting, local residents raised various problems and law and order issues in the area. The concerned authorities assured to take necessary steps in these matters.
