The newly appointed Managing Director (MD) of Rajshahi WASA, Mr. Mohammad Harun-or-Rashid (Joint Secretary), paid a courtesy call on the Honorable Administrator of Rajshahi City Corporation, Mr. Md. Mahfuzur Rahman Riton. The courtesy call was held at 11 am today, Thursday, in the office of the Administrator at Nagar Bhaban. At this time, the RASC Administrator greeted the WASA MD with flowers.
During the meeting, they exchanged views on various important issues including the development of Rajshahi metropolis, improvement of citizen services and increasing mutual coordination.
At this time, the Managing Director of Rajshahi WASA highly praised the various developmental activities undertaken by Rajshahi City Corporation to build a clean, green and planned Rajshahi metropolis. At the same time, he sought the overall cooperation of the RASC Administrator to further improve the quality of WASA services.
At that time, RASC Administrator Mr. Md. Mahfuzur Rahman Riton said, “Our main objective is to deliver the best services to the doorsteps of the people. All those concerned must work together for the development of Rajshahi and the welfare of the people.” He assured the necessary overall cooperation from the Rajshahi City Corporation in the activities of Rajshahi WASA.
During the exchange of views, importance was laid on further strengthening the existing coordination and mutual cooperation between Rajshahi City Corporation and Rajshahi WASA to further accelerate the quality of citizen services, sustainable urban development, and activities conducted in the public interest.
