July Martyrs’ Day celebrated in Narsingdi through various programs

July Martyrs’ Day was celebrated in Narsingdi through various programs. The day began with a wreath-laying ceremony at the July Memorial Monument set up in Narsingdi Municipal Park. First, the wreath-laying ceremony was held by Narsingdi-1 Sadar Constituency MP Khairul Kabir Khokon.

After this, wreath-laying ceremony was held by District Commissioner Israt Jahan Keya, Police Superintendent Abdullah Al-Farooq, Narsingdi Press Club President Makhon Das, July fighters, and various government, non-government, and voluntary organizations of the district.

Later, a discussion meeting was organized at the auditorium of Narsingdi Shilpakala Academy on the occasion of July Martyrs’ Day.  Local MP Khairul Kabir Khokon spoke as the chief guest at the event organized by the district administration. During this time, the July Uprising and its memory were discussed. In addition, the day was celebrated through various programs including Milad, Doa Mahfil, discussion meetings, etc. at the initiative of all the upazila administrations of Narsingdi.
