A drug addict named Nazmul Hasan (28) was sentenced to prison in the mobile court in Kotalipara, Gopalganj.
On Tuesday (July 14) afternoon, officials of the District Liquor Control Department
conducted a raid in Bahrabari village of Kotalipara upazila and arrested him. During this, 20 grams of marijuana in his custody were recovered.
Later, the judge of the mobile court, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Sagufta Haque, sentenced him to 6 months of imprisonment and a fine of 200 taka.
The convicted Nazmul Hasan is said to be the son of Abu Taleb Mia of Bahrabari village of Sadullapur union.
