The ‘RDA Park and Rest House’ built in the Padma residential area of ​​the city under the initiative of Rajshahi Development Authority (RDA) has been formally inaugurated. Bangladesh Government Land Minister Mizanur Rahman Minu inaugurated the park as the chief guest on Wednesday at 12 noon.

The inaugural ceremony was presided over by RDA Chairman Md. Abul Kalam Azad (Sweet).

After the inauguration, the Land Minister planted a tree in front of Bhadra Park. After that, he toured various facilities of the newly built park with other guests. He appreciated the RDA authorities for taking such a timely initiative to ensure modern entertainment and open environment for the city dwellers.

Speaking at the event, Land Minister Mizanur Rahman Minu expressed hope that this RDA Park will play an important role as a new center for healthy recreation, protecting a healthy environment, and spending family leisure time for city residents.
Among others present at the event were Rajshahi-3 MP Advocate Shafiqul Haque Milon, Rajshahi-5 MP Professor Nazrul Islam, former Mayor of Rajshahi City Corporation Mosaddek Hossain Bulbul, Rajshahi District Council Administrator Advocate Ershad Ali Isha, Rajshahi Range DIG Mohammad Shahjahan, and Rajshahi University Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Faridul Islam, along with leaders and senior officials of various political parties.
