Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has recovered 143 bottles of Indian Phensidyl without owner during a raid at the Sapahar border in Naogaon.
The operation was conducted in Jalshuka village of Sapahar upazila under the leadership of Subedar Md. Ayub Ali, patrol commander of Adatola BOP under Naogaon Battalion (16 BGB) at around 4 am on Monday (June 29).
The BGB said that 143 bottles of Indian Phensidyl were recovered during the operation without an owner. The process of submitting the recovered drugs to Sapahar Police Station is under process.
Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Ariful Islam Masum, PSC, commander of Naogaon Battalion (16 BGB), said that BGB operations to prevent illegal border crossing, cattle and drug smuggling, and all types of smuggling at the Naogaon and Chapainawabganj borders will continue in the future.
The matter was announced in a press release sent by the Naogaon Battalion (16 BGB).
