Muhammad Khan Foundation and Mohammad Yunus Ali Memorial Foundation organized a merit evaluation
competition and a reception ceremony for the best talents of the upazila at 10 am on
Sunday. In this, a commemorative plaque was presented to Alhaj Rafiqul Islam Mondal,
a distinguished social worker, former president of Magura High School, headmaster of
Government Primary School and chairman of BD Niyala News, for his special
contribution to education and social service. Present at the time were Kurigram Sadar
Upazila Academic Education Supervisor Md. Mizanur Rahman, founding director of
Muhammad Khan Foundation Md. Azmir Khan Bullet, headmaster of Sharifabad
Government Primary School Md. Hedayet Hossain, assistant teacher of Garagram
Government Primary School Md. Shahe Newaz Shah, among others.
