Rakib Talukder becomes joint convener of Barishal Metropolitan Chhatra Dal

Md. Rakib Talukder, a native of Baghdia village in Kalskathi union of Bakerganj upazila of Barishal, has become the joint convener of Barishal Metropolitan Chhatra Dal. On May 2, the convening committee of Barishal Metropolitan Chhatra Dal was announced in a notification signed by Central Chhatra Dal President Md. Rakibul Islam Rakib and General Secretary Nasir Uddin Nasir. Rakib Talukder is the son of Md. Abdul Razzak Talukder of Ward No. 6 of Kalskathi union of Bakerganj upazila.
According to party sources, Rakib Talukder was a former student leader of BM College for a long time, was active in student politics for a long time and played a courageous role on the streets in the past anti-government movement.
In his response, Rakib Talukder said, “I will fulfill the assigned responsibilities with honesty and devotion. I will always strive to strengthen the organization and achieve the rights of the students.”
Leaders of Barisal Metropolitan BNP, BM College Chhatra Dal and Bakerganj Upazila Chhatra Dal congratulated him on his success.
